Well Minds Is a group for parents and carers of children and young people struggling with mental health illnesses to share the worries and strain in a safe confidential environment with others who know exactly how they are feeling and what they are going through.
This group will initially be held monthly and will be led and directed by those attending the group.
Speakers will be invited in response to concerns; such as our volunteer solicitor to advise on power of attorney, Psychiatric nurse for relaxation exercises………
We aim to support and encourage and work at removing the stigma attached to mental illnesses and will be meeting on the first Monday each month at 7-9pm.
As a follow on from this group, we will be developing a second group Well Families. This group aims to build family cohesion.
