God's Love, shown and shared in the heart of Kibworth
Welcome to The Well
How COVID-19 is affecting The Well
Phased re-opening of The Well
The shop is open from Mondays to Fridays, 1 - 4pm.
Do come and say hello, browse and buy from our range of top-quality used clothing, shoes and handbags and grab yourself a bargain. All are welcome.
Due to current restrictions, we are admitting one person or one family unit at a time.
Please wear a face-mask. Thank you for helping us to keep everyone as safe as possible in the current pandemic.
We would like to assure customers that all our risk assessments are in place and that we are following all Government guidelines on how to keep everyone safe from Covid-19.
Donations of GOOD QUALITY CLOTHING AND SHOES ONLY can be brought to The Well on any week-day afternoon from 1 - 4pm.
It would be enormously helpful if these could be placed in a bin liner and tied securely.
WE ARE UNABLE to take books or smaller accessories such as jewellery at this time and we CANNOT accept any bric-a-brac items, toys or games due to limited space and cleaning considerations.
Having closed for business on Saturday 21st March, in accordance with government guidelines, The Well is now preparing for a phased resumption of business, whilst seeking a future for the vital work started throughout the lockdown period.
The Well is supporting Harborough District Council and The Jubilee Food Bank by providing a ‘Pop-up’ Food Bank service in Kibworth, which also extends to many villages around. We are now in conversation with these partners and others in the local community to determine the future for this service and others that are emerging out of it, such as our telephone Listening Service for those who may be feeling down or affected by the crisis.
These services are only available by referral through the usual channels, and anyone who would like to know more can contact The Well via email to email@example.com or by calling the landline 0116 279 0148 between the hours of 10am - 1pm on week days. Alternatively, you can connect with Emma via Facebook Messenger.
We hope to have plans in place for re-opening of the Cafe, groups and clinics in the autumn, but have much to prepare before then so wish to thank you for your continued patience. We do understand that The Well is an important social hub for many in the community and are really looking forward to welcoming old and new customers and clients back again.
Thank you so much,
Emma, Qyan and all the volunteers

CAFE AND GARDEN
Our community café is fully accessible for wheelchair users, and we offer free wifi for all our customers.
We have a wide range of delicious snacks and drinks, see our Menu.
Our garden is a beautiful space to sit and relax on a warm day.
We sell a wide range of good quality ladies, gents, and kids clothing and accessories and also novels. The best clothes sell really quickly so please drop in frequently to see what we’ve put out in the shop.
We are incredibly blessed with the donations for our charity and are grateful for any items of good quality clothing, shoes, scarves, jewellery and novels.
The Sanctuary is the very special heart of life at The Well. The catalyst of prayer out of which vision for The Well was born, this room still hosts prayer activities on a daily basis both for individuals sitting quietly to reflect, and for Prayer Team members to lift to God those members of the community who are in need.
Our listening and outreach services also take place in The Sanctuary, including Acorn Style Listening, a CAB Clinic and a free Legal Service.
