Are there age restrictions?
The minimum age to volunteer with us is 14.
Do I need any special skills to become a volunteer?
No, you don’t need special skills to volunteer with us.
What is the application process?
First pick up an Application form and Volunteer Reference form from The Well, or download them from the Support Us page on our website. Or if you would like paper copies please request by email to caroline.gilchrist@thewellkibworth.org Fill them in, and return them to The Well.
Our Admin Assistant, Caroline Gilchrist will call you for a chat to discuss your application.
What training do you offer volunteers?
We offer all the training you will need to volunteer with us.
Will volunteering affect my benefits?
No. Volunteering does not affect the benefit payments you may receive. Many people start volunteering when they are unemployed as a way to learn new skills and gain experience to help them find a job.
Will volunteering cost me anything?
No, you don’t have to pay anything to volunteer with us.
What is the time commitment for volunteers?
We ask that you commit to at least one 4-hour shift every week
What volunteering roles are currently available?
Currently we are looking for volunteers to help in the café and in the shop.
