HOW YOU CAN HELP
Donations of clean clothing and shoes, accessories are always welcome. Also bed linen (duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases and towels) - all in 'as-new' condition please.
Please bring novels and children's books for our second-hand books shelf, but not non-fiction books as we don't have the space to display them.
We are sorry that due to the tiny size of our shop and storage area, we cannot take any bric-a-brac or household items.
Please drop off your donations in the shop during trading hours.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
The Well relies on a strong team of some thirty volunteers who run the café, run the shop, sort donations, keep the garden looking beautiful, and maintain the fabric of the building.
They also run the group sessions that take place in The Well, fulfil prayer requests in the Sanctuary, chat to visitors, rush to the Co-op when we run out of milk, and a thousand other jobs small and large.
During the corona pandemic it is difficult for people to drop into The Well so we have changed our application process for new volunteers. Please fill in an Application form and Volunteer Reference form and return these to The Well. Our Admin Assistant Caroline Gilchrist will call you for a chat. These forms can be downloaded here in Word or PDF formats here:-
